Colleagues hired after December 31, 2009 are not eligible for benefits under the Aetna Frozen Pension Plan. Participants who received pension credits prior to 2011 may be eligible for a Plan benefit. Please review the Summary Plan Description (SPD) below for more information about plan eligibility.

  • If you are a current or former colleague who is eligible for benefits under the Plan and are interested in learning about your pension benefit, please visit Colleague Zone online or call the Colleague Zone Service Center and select the Pension menu option.

  • If you are planning to commence your Pension Benefit under the plan, please visit Colleague Zone online or call the Colleague Zone Service Center at least 30 days prior to and not more than 90 days prior to your expected pension commencement date and select the Pension menu option.

  • If you die while employed, your beneficiary will be provided with details about payment options. In addition, your beneficiary can call the Colleague Zone Service Center and select the Pension menu option.
