How to Enroll
It’s easy to enroll in benefits in the Ulta Beauty benefits enrollment portal, powered by bswift. You can also enroll on the bswift app! Associates have three main periods where you can enroll or change benefits: new hire, Annual Enrollment, or due to a qualifying life event. Check out the steps below.

New Hire
Welcome to Ulta Beauty! Because your health and well-being are our priority--inside and outside of work--we’ve carefully assembled a suite of benefits that affirms and supports all you contribute every day.

Gather information you will need to enroll:
Dependent and beneficiary names, social security numbers, and contact information.
You may be required to confirm dependent eligibility (legal spouses, domestic partners, and children/step-children under the age of 26).
If you make a mistake entering any of this information - contact benefits@ulta.com.
Log in to your personalized benefits enrollment portal at to enroll, check rates, and view plan details! Benefits are effective Day 1.

Login: Associate ID (if you do not have this yet, email AssociateCareandSupport@ulta.com).
Password: Last 4 digits of your SSN (if you are having login troubles, contact bswift at 877-238-0246).
Once enrolled - you will receive medical and dental cards, if applicable. Cards are not distributed for vision (SSNs are used for validation of enrollment).
Enrollment Support:
Emma - Emma is your virtual benefits assistant and can provide recommendations that are best for you and your family. You'll meet Emma when you log in to the bswift enrollment portal.
Benefit Education Specialists (BES) - You may schedule an appointment with a BES by visiting https://go.oncehub.com/ulta. A specialist can answer questions about the different plans and help you through the enrollment process.

Rehire
Welcome back to Ulta Beauty!
If you were rehired within 30 days of your separation, all of your prior health benefits will be reinstated.
You will not have a new window to enroll in benefits. You may log in to the bswift enrollment portal to review the benefits you are enrolled in and update beneficiaries, if applicable. Paid time off and tenure is NOT bridged, it restarts using your rehire date.
If you were rehired after more than 30 days, you are considered a New Hire. Please see the new hire drop down above for further instructions. *If you were rehired within 91 days and still in your ACA stability period, all of your prior health benefits will be reinstated.

Qualifying Life Event
A Qualifying Life Event (QLE) is a life change that allows associates to make changes to their benefits outside of their new hire or annual enrollment period. Examples of a QLE include: marriage, domestic partnership, birth, adoption, guardianship of child, divorce or legal separation, death of a dependent, or loss of other coverage.
Associates must only make changes to their benefits that are consistent with the life event. For example, if you have a divorce QLE you can drop your ex-spouse from your plan but you may not add a child. To add a child to your plan, you must have a different QLE to support the addition.
You have 30 days from a QLE to make a change to your benefits. For birth/adoption QLEs your benefits are effective on the date of the event. All other benefit effective dates are effective on the date you make the change due to your QLE. You will be required to submit supporting documentation before your QLE is approved.

Annual Enrollment
Annual Enrollment is a designated period of time that allows associates to enroll or make changes to their benefits outside of their new hire window and without a Qualifying Life Event. At Ulta Beauty, Annual Enrollment runs each summer for benefits effective September 1st through August 31st.
