Below are resources and tips to help you and your family before, during and after a natural disaster.What to do during and after a disaster
Your safety and wellbeing are top priorities. If you are impacted by a natural disaster, you can find support through our various benefit plan resources listed here:
Call Health Advocate to help you manage the recovery process and use this Disaster Recovery Guide to help you manage the situation.
If you’re on our medical plan, call UHC (833) 313-2025 to find a doctor or to help with a planned procedure that has been interrupted. You can also get access to a doctor by phone free of charge with Teladoc (1-855-225-5032).
If you need to replace your medications, call CVS (1-866-212-4752) or your pharmacy for assistance.
If you have Publicis Vision coverage, please call VSP (1-800-123-4567) for assistance. See here for more details.

Preparing children for emergencies
Children can be particularly impacted by the fear that surrounds a natural disaster, so having a fearless way to prepare them for the unexpected should be a high priority. Here are resources to help prepare children for various emergencies:

Emergency Pharmacy Assistance by CVS Health

Medication Support
Emergency Refills: Members in affected areas can receive one-time emergency refills of a 10-day supply of medication. For approval of a full 30-day supply, contact CVS Customer Care.
Retail Pharmacy Support: Retail pharmacies can use the Submission Clarification Code (SCC) to bypass refill-too-soon rejections, ensuring quick access to medications for situations such as lost/stolen prescriptions, dosage changes, or vacations.
Specialty Medications: Impacted members will be contacted for alternate delivery arrangements, and courier services will be engaged as needed. For overrides, Specialty Operations will coordinate with Account Management.

Customer Care Line: Members can call 866-212-475 (located on the back of their prescription ID card) for assistance with medication delivery or other concerns.
Additional Notes
Delivery Services: No UPS disruptions have been reported.
Enroll in Emergency Programs: If your organization is interested in CVS Caremark’s emergency pharmacy programs, contact CVS to enroll and facilitate seamless medication access for members.
