Iron Mountain has made several enhancements to your benefits plans and services to provide you and your family with more convenience and flexibility.

Review the below information and the What's Changing Newsletter to learn what's new for you in 2025.
-
Medical plan premiums
To promote affordability and fairness, we are introducing a new salary-based approach to sharing medical premium costs between you and the company. That means premiums for all medical plans will now be scaled based on salary.
Mountaineer premiums
(amount you pay to buy coverage through payroll deductions):
Salary Band 1 Salary Band 2 Salary Band 3 Base salary
< $45,000Base salary
= $45,000-$70,000Base salary
> $70,000Premium amounts for 2025 will be different than the current 2024 premium amounts.
Your 2025 premiums will depend on a variety of factors: your salary band, the tobacco and spousal surcharges if applicable, the plan you choose, and the dependents you cover.
You can find your premium amounts when you make your choices through the Iron Mountain Benefits Center.

Tobacco use and spousal surcharges
We’re updating the tobacco use and spousal surcharge amounts to ensure that all Mountaineers contribute proportionally.
Mountaineers wishing to cover a spouse or domestic partner who is eligible for other employer-sponsored coverage will pay a $125 per month surcharge.
Mountaineers and their enrolled spouses/domestic partners must pay a surcharge if either of you uses tobacco or nicotine products.

New Aetna medical plans
This year, we’re offering four brand new medical plans with Aetna. All of them include pharmacy coverage with CVS and offer 100% in-network preventive care, but the designs for each are different.
Three of the plans let you select between two provider network tiers when you access care throughout the year. The fourth option is a new high-deductible plan.

-
New virtual care access
As part of our new Aetna medical plans, we’re introducing Virtual Primary Care through CVS to support your needs. Aetna plan members will have convenient access to primary care and mental health services online or by phone anytime.

HSA contributions
We’re adjusting the employer Health Savings Account (HSA) contribution amounts to be based on salary.
If you choose one of the two high-deductible medical plans, you can sign up for an HSA through Fidelity. HSAs allow you to save for eligible medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision expenses, now or in the future. They allow you to set aside money before taxes and withdraw the money tax-free when you spend it on eligible expenses.
Depending on the plan you choose, both you and Iron Mountain contribute to your HSA, up to the annual IRS limits. The amount Iron Mountain will contribute this year will be based on your salary.

FSAs with Fidelity
Flexible Spending Accounts(FSA) for health care and dependent day care will now be administered by Fidelity, so all your tax-advantaged accounts will be in the same place.
If you’re interested in an FSA, you’ll need to enroll in October — your current contributions won’t continue automatically.
