Stock Incentive Program

CarMax offers two different long-term incentive programs to Associates: 

Stock grants as part of eligible associates' total compensation package. These grants are issued by the Company on an annual basis, generally in the first quarter of the fiscal year, and are subject to leadership and Board of Director approval, so are not guaranteed. 

A voluntary Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP), where Full-Time and Part-Time Associates can purchase company stock after completing one year of service. The ESPP allows Associates to purchase CarMax Common Stock through after-tax payroll deductions, up to 10% of pay. The Company provides a matching contribution equal to 15% of the Associate's contribution with a cap.

CarMax stock is publicly traded on the NYSE as KMX.
