What's New for 2026
What’s New for 2026
We’re committed to supporting you and your family’s Health, Financial, Emotional, and Work Wellbeing. Choosing benefit coverage is one of the most important decisions you can make each year. Take time to review what’s new for 2026 below. You can also check out this video for an overview of what to expect.
Updates to Medical Plan Deductibles, Out of Pocket Maximums and Premiums:
As health care costs continue to rise across the country, employees will see an increase in premiums, deductibles, and out-of-pocket maximums for our medical plans in 2026. We recognize that health care costs are a growing concern for many individuals and families, and we’re committed to supporting you while helping you make the most of your benefits.
To manage costs and maximize your coverage, we encourage you to:
Choose in-network providers
Opt for generic prescriptions when available
Take advantage of programs like Hinge Health, Livongo by Teledoc, and Lyra Health
Use tax-saving options like an FSA or HSA
For 2026, La-Z-Boy is holding a passive benefits enrollment, which means most of your 2025 elections will automatically carry over. There are a few important exceptions:
You must re-enroll in any Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) each year. The Health Care FSA, Limited Purpose FSA, and Dependent Care FSA contributions do not carry over. If you do not enroll on or before November 14, 2025, you will not have FSA coverage for 2026.
Limits for 2026:
The maximum annual contribution limit for Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) and the Health Savings Account (HSA) will increase as follows:
Health Savings Account (HSA) for Health Saver Plan Participants:
The maximum contribution limit will increase to $4,400 for Individuals and $8,750 for Families.
Health Care FSA (for Standard Plan participants):
The maximum annual contribution will increase, along with the carryover limit, to $3,300 for individuals, with a carryover of $660.
Dependent Care FSA (available to all employees):
The maximum annual contribution limit will increase to up to $7,500 per household (single or married filing jointly) or up to $3,750 if married filing separately.
New for 2026! If you have a Health Savings Account (HSA), your 2025 contribution will roll over to 2026 unless you choose to actively update it.
Even with passive enrollment, this Open Enrollment period is your once-a-year opportunity to review your benefit elections and any new offerings to make sure your plans still meet your needs.
Reminder: You will not be able to make any benefit changes until next year’s enrollment period unless you have a Qualified Life Event change, such as marriage, divorce, or a new child during the year.
