La-Z-Boy offers a competitive PTO package to include paid holidays, vacation days, state sick time (where applicable), and time off for jury duty and bereavement.

  • Paid Time Off

    Paid time off includes:

    • 9-11 paid holidays each year

    • Two (2) weeks’ prorated vacation as a new hire

    • Either personal time (non-exempt only) or state mandated sick time

  • Paid Bonding Leave

    Welcoming a new child? La-Z-Boy also offers paid bonding leave to support you during this special time — whether through birth, adoption, or foster care. Take time to connect, care, and adjust to your new child with continued income and job protection.

    This parental leave policy allows eligible new parent employees to take up to six (6) weeks off at 80% pay.

  • Short-Term Disability

    La-Z-Boy provides STD coverage automatically (no enrollment) at no cost to you. Short-Term Disability benefits replace a portion of your income if you become disabled on a short-term basis. Benefits are payable to you if you are unable to work due to a non-work-related injury or illness for more than seven days in a row. However, Injury, surgery, or overnight hospitalization benefits begin day one. The level of coverage depends on your employment status as follows:

    Class I: Manufacturing
    (FH ALL)
    60% of earnings up to a maximum of $1,500. PLUS, the choice of purchasing two-year or five-year LTD benefit.
    Class II: Salary Grades 1-12
    (Hourly & Retail Non-Leadership)
    If less than three years of service: 50% of earnings for up to 26 weeks with no maximum, PLUS company-paid LTD benefit.
    If three years or more of service: 100% of earnings for eight weeks and 50% of earnings for 18 weeks with no maximum, PLUS company-paid LTD benefit.
    Class III: Salary Grades 13-18
    (Salary and Retail Leadership)
    If less than three years of service: 100% of earnings for eight weeks and 60% of earnings for 18 weeks with no maximum, PLUS company-paid LTD.
    If three years or more of service: 100% of earnings for up to 26 weeks with no maximum, PLUS company-paid LTD benefit.
    Class IV: Salary Grades 19-29,
    H and above
    100% of earnings for up to 26 weeks with no maximum, PLUS company-paid LTD benefit.

  • Voluntary Long-Term Disability

    La-Z-Boy offers hourly and salary grades 1-12 employees the opportunity to purchase Long-Term Disability (LTD) through Unum. LTD provides income protection if you experience a disabling condition that lasts longer than six months, picking up where STD coverage left off.

    You can choose between two Voluntary LTD options: one plan provides a disability income benefit for a maximum of two years, while the other offers an income benefit for a maximum of five years. You pay 100% of the cost of these benefits through after-tax payroll deductions but are able to take advantage of discounted group rates.
