Work & Life
Time Off
Bringing your best self to work means taking time to unplug. Review the programs designed to support your time away from work.
Vacation (All Store/Pharmacy exempt and non-exempt & non-exempt Distribution Center Colleagues)
Vacation is provided to eligible store and distribution center colleagues each calendar year (January 1 through December 31) and generally must be used in the same year it is earned. Colleagues accrue vacation on the first of the month following six months of continuous, active employment.
Vacation Allocations based on Service Date:
- 6 months to 3 years: Up to 2 weeks
- 4 years to 13 years: Up to 3 weeks
- 14+ years: Up to 4 weeks
With supervisor approval, you may use vacation in advance. Negative balances at year-end will reduce the following year's maximum accrual allocation.
PTO (myTime) (Field & Corporate Colleagues)
PTO (myTime) is a separate program consisting of a bank of vacation, personal, and sick days that eligible colleagues can use to take time away from work. Annual allocation is determined at the beginning of each year based on your benefit service date and job grade.
PTO (myTime) Accrual Tiers:
- 0 to 2 years: Up to 16 days
- 3 to 9 years: Up to 21 days
- 10 to 19 years: Up to 26 days
- 20+ years: Up to 29 days
Colleagues are responsible for tracking usage accurately and promptly—within the pay period it is used—using Workday or Workbrain.
