Who, How and When to Enroll

DICK’S Sporting Goods is pleased to offer an affordable limited medical plan through The American Worker. The limited medical plans are designed to provide coverage for basic health care services. These plans do not qualify as minimum essential coverage under the Affordable Care Act (ACA).

Limited medical plans are not available to residents of New Hampshire and Vermont.

Who can enroll and when

Part-time regular teammates can enroll online or by phone within 31 days of your hire date. You can also enroll eligible dependents.

Eligible dependents include:

  • Your legal spouse for federal income tax purposes

  • Your same- or opposite-sex domestic partner

  • Children to age 26, including stepchildren, children of your domestic partner (if you are covering your domestic partner), adopted children and children legally with you awaiting adoption

  • Children over age 26 who are not able to support themselves due to a physical or mental disability
