Short-Term Disability

This plan provides protection if you suffer a disability from a qualifying non-occupational illness or injury. If you are eligible and enroll through The American Worker Plan, you will receive income to help cover your expenses due to lost wages.

If you wish to participate, you must enroll in the benefit through the American Worker Plan. You will pay $5.95 each pay. STD provides a weekly maximum benefit of $150 for up to 26 weeks. There is a required 7 day waiting period for accidents and sickness. This coverage includes time away for pregnancy and childbirth.
