Protecting your eyesight is important, but did you know regular eye exams can also lead to early detection of diseases like diabetes and high blood pressure? That’s why the Company offers you vision benefits through VSP, one of the largest eye care providers in the country.

• How the Vision Plan Works

  Using your VSP benefit is easy. Just follow these steps:

  • Find a VSP provider who’s right for you. Read about your VSP online account features, check out VSP.com or call 1-800-877-7195 to locate a VSP provider near you.

  • At your appointment, simply tell your provider you have VSP (there is no ID card for the vision plan).

• Services in the VSP plans

  There are two vision plans to choose from: the Base Plan and the Buy-Up Plan. Review the 2026 Vision Plans Summary.

  Typically, when you use an out-of-network provider, you are responsible for payment and then filing the claim through VSP. Remember, in any of our plans, it’s always best to stay in-network. You’ll get higher reimbursement for the services and products you purchase.

  If you exceed your frame allowance

  If you choose a frame valued at more than the plan’s allowance, the difference you’ll pay is based on VSP’s preferred member pricing, so you’ll still save money!

• Discounts on laser vision care

  VSP offers a discount on PRK and LASIK surgeries through many of the nation’s finest laser surgery facilities and doctors, available through contracted laser centers.

  • Discount average 15% off or 5% off a promotional offer for laser surgery, including PRK, LASIK, Custom LASIK and IntraLase.

  • Discounts are only available from VSP-contracted facilities. Also, custom LASIK coverage (only available using wavefront technology with the microkeratome surgical device) and other LASIK procedures may be performed at an additional cost to the member.

  • VSP members won’t pay more than $1,500 per eye for PRK, $1,800 per eye for LASIK and $2,300 per eye for Custom LASIK, Custom PRK or Bladeless LASIK. After surgery, use your frame allowance (if eligible) for sunglasses from any VSP network doctor.

• Prescription glasses and sunglasses

  • You receive a 20% in-network discount on additional pairs of prescription glasses and sunglasses (lenses and a frame); just return to the same VSP doctor who performed your last covered eye exam within 12 months from the date of the exam.

  • As a VSP member, you can shop eyewear and contacts at the best possible price on Eyeconic. If you register, your VSP benefits are integrated when you comparison shop. You may also reach out to Eyeconic customer service and inquire about the price match.

• Non-prescription Sunglasses and Blue Light Filtering Glasses
