Open Enrollment 2027

What’s new for 2027 page

Open Enrollment 2027: October 28–November 11, 2026

This is your annual opportunity to review your coverage, understand what's changing, and choose the benefits that best support you and your family in 2027. This is the only time you can change your elections for the 2027 plan year outside of a qualified life event.

What's new for 2027

  • As healthcare costs continue to rise, employee contributions for most Fortive medical plan options will increase in 2027. We know affordability matters, and we remain committed to providing plan choices that meet a range of needs and budgets:

    • Health Savings Account (HSA) plans continue to be an important option for employees looking to manage healthcare costs. HSA plans can help eligible employees save for current and future healthcare expenses, and the HSA 3000 Employee Only and HSA 3000 Employee + Child(ren) coverage tiers will remain available at no cost to employees. Learn more about HSAs →

    • PPO plan options will continue to be available, ensuring you can select the coverage that is right for you and your family.

  • The HSA 1700 medical plan will be called HSA 1750, and the deductible will be $1,750/$3,500 (from $1,700/$3,400 in 2026).

  • Fortive will conduct a one-time dependent eligibility audit. All employees who have one or more dependents enrolled in medical, dental, and/or life insurance coverage for the 2027 plan year, regardless of whether documentation was previously submitted, will be required to provide documentation confirming that their dependents meet the plan's eligibility requirements. The verification window opens October 26, 2026 and the submission deadline is November 25, 2026. See below for the required documentation you’ll need to verify your dependents.

What's staying the same

We're proud to continue offering comprehensive benefits, at no additional cost to you, including:

  • Confidential mental health support through Spring Health for employees and household family members

  • Wellness incentives through Regence Empower, which allows eligible participants to earn up to $300 for completing healthy activities

  • Unlimited access to tailored exercises and musculoskeletal care, developed for you by a physical therapist through Hinge Health

  • Family, fertility, and women's health support through Progyny and Maven

  • Financial wellbeing resources, including the Fidelity 401(k) plan with company matching and SoFi at Work

How to enroll

  • By November 11:

    • Log in to your account and review your current coverage and make any updates needed for 2027.

    • Enrolled in an FSA or HSA? Even if you don’t plan to make other changes, if you are currently enrolled in a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and/or a Health Savings Account (HSA) and take no action, your election will not roll over into 2027. You must elect your FSA and HSA each year.

    • If you are covered under a parent or spouse’s plan, you should still log in to waive your benefits.

  • If you don’t take action:

    • You will be automatically enrolled in the same plans for 2027 except for FSA and HSA accounts.

    • And you are covering your spouse by Fortive benefits plans and no action is taken, a monthly $100 spousal surcharge will be added by default.
