Everyone wants to have a great smile, and good oral health is important for overall health. DICK’S provides two dental plans through United Concordia that pay 100% of the cost of preventive care. You share the cost of dental coverage through pre-tax contributions.

• United Concordia’s “Concordia Flex” program allows you to visit any dentist of your choice. All charges are subject to usual, customary and reasonable limits.

• In-network dentists accept United Concordia’s allowance as payment in full for covered services. You only pay the applicable deductible and coinsurance amount. When you use an Elite Plus network dentist, there are no claim forms to file—the dentist does it for you. Find an Elite Plus network dentist.

• Out-of-network dentists will collect the appropriate deductible and coinsurance, and you may pay more if the dentist charge is more than United Concordia’s reimbursement amount. When you use a dentist who is not a United Concordia participating dentist, you may have to complete and submit the claim form to United Concordia for reimbursement.

• Virtual Dentist

  If you and/or your dependents are enrolled in the Company dental plan (Base or Buy-Up Plan) and have a minor dental problem, virtual visits let you consult with a dentist right away.

  Virtual visits are covered the same as an exam in the dentist’s office, but you may have out-of-pocket costs. Your annual maximum and frequency limitations will also apply. Click here for more information.
