    Enhanced Veteran Stress Support

    If you or a member of your family is returning from service, your Cigna Confide Employee Assistance Program (EAP) can help with the challenges of adjusting to civilian life. And it’s all offered by Ecolab at no cost to you. EAP specialists can provide support to veterans and their family (any household members of the employee).

If you or your loved one can’t seem to remember dates or appointments, is inattentive during conversations, is highly disorganized, or has difficulty making decisions, these may be signs of cognitive impairment.

    The most cited risk factors for suicide include psychiatric disorders, genetics, substance abuse, and family and social situations. Oftentimes, psychiatric factors and substance abuse co-exist. Access to weapons and other methods of suicide also increase the risk.

    Depression and suicide awareness efforts are crucial for promoting mental health, reducing stigma, encouraging help-seeking behavior and ultimately saving lives.
