OPEN ENROLLMENT CHECKLIST

The elections you make during the 2025 Benefits Open Enrollment period will be effective from January 1, 2025, through December 31, 2025, and you cannot make changes unless you experience a qualifying life event (such as loss of other coverage, birth, marriage, etc.).

You must take action if you want to:

  • Make contributions to the Flexible Spending Accounts (Health Care, Limited Purpose, Dependent Care) – your 2024 elections will not carry forward

  • Enroll in Vacation Flex if you are a non-exempt associate – your 2024 elections will not carry forward

  • Increase your Health Savings Account (HSA) contributions to take effect on January 1

  • Receive the full annual Broadridge HSA contribution if you are enrolling in the SavingsPlus HSA plan in 2025 for the first time. You must open an Inspira HSA online in the benefits enrollment tool during Open Enrollment.

  • Review and update your beneficiaries for your life insurance, AD&D and BTA coverage(s).

Consider the following before you enroll:

  • Any other benefit elections you have in place for 2024 will carry forward in 2025. These include:

    • Medical, dental or vision elections as well as the working spouse and tobacco surcharge

    • If you are currently enrolled in the Basic Plus medical plan with the bundled Hospital Indemnity, you will be automatically carried over to the Basic Plus plan and standalone Hospital Indemnity at the new higher premium. If you do not want Hospital Indemnity, you must take action to waive coverage.

    • Health Savings Account

    • Other voluntary coverages such as Voluntary Life AD&D, group accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity, long term disability, ID theft, pet discount, or group legal (as applicable)

Other Important Reminders:

  • Review and make updates to any covered dependents

  • Review your beneficiaries to be sure they are up to date

  • Make the necessary changes to your elections to reflect you and your family's evolving needs for 2025

  • If you want to receive the Broadridge quarterly contribution for the Health Savings Account (HSA) make sure you do not “waive” this coverage, either:

    • Set your goal amount to make your own contributions to the HSA, and you will automatically receive the quarterly Broadridge contribution; or

    • Elect and set your annual goal to $0 establishing no contributions being made by you, however this will allow the quarterly Broadridge contributions to be made
