New Hire Benefits Enrollment Information

You have 30 days from your date of hire/benefits eligibility date to enroll in Broadridge benefits:

The elections you make during your initial eligibility window will be effective from your date of hire/benefits eligibility date through December 31 (as long as you remain eligible through the end of the year) and you cannot make changes unless you experience a qualified life event (such as loss of other employer sponsored coverage, birth, marriage, etc.).

YOU MUST TAKE ACTION IF YOU WANT TO:

  • Enroll in medical, dental or vision coverage for yourself and your eligible dependents (as applicable).

    • When you initially enroll, the tobacco and working spouse/domestic partner surcharges (as applicable) for medical coverage are automatically included in your rates

      • You will have the opportunity to remove these surcharges if these do not apply to you

    • When you enroll in medical coverage, it automatically includes prescription drug coverage

  • Make contributions to the Flexible Spending Accounts and Health Savings Accounts (as applicable)

  • Open a Health Savings Account (HSA), as applicable, to receive the Broadridge HSA contribution and make your own contributions

  • Enroll in personal accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity, disability, ID theft, pet discount, voluntary life, or group legal benefits (as applicable for you)

  • Add eligible dependents to your coverage (you will be required to submit proof/documentation for any dependents that you enroll in Broadridge benefits coverage)

  • Designate beneficiaries for your Basic Life, Basic Accidental Death and Dismemberment, Voluntary AD&D, Voluntary Term Life, and Business Travel Accident coverages as applicable.

  • Also, enroll in the 401(k) plan within the first 60 days from your date of hire. If you do not actively enroll in 401(k) benefits within 60 days, you will be automatically enrolled at a contribution rate of 3% of your compensation and invested in a target date fund that is closest to your projected retirement age.
