Benefits Summary

Plan Option Key Features
Basic Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance If you are a regular associate scheduled to work 20 hours or more per week, you are automatically provided with Basic Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance equal to 1.5 times their annual base salary (up to a maximum of $1,000,000).

  • Coverage is equal to 1.5 times base annual earnings (up to a maximum of $1,000,000).
  • You have the option to limit your Life Insurance coverage amount to $50,000 to avoid imputed income, as determined by the IRS.
  • Broadridge pays the full cost of these coverages
  • Coverage becomes effective on the first day of active employment.
Voluntary Life Insurance If you are a regular associate scheduled to work 20 or more standard hours per week, you have the option of enrolling in the voluntary life insurance in addition to your basic coverage provided by the company. Voluntary life insurance coverage is also available for your spouse/domestic partner and/or child(ren).

  • You may elect 1.5 to 8 times your base annual earnings up to a maximum of $3,000,000.
  • Newly eligible associates get the guarantee issue of $500,000 without evidence of insurability, if elected within 30 days of eligibility.
  • Spouse/DP Life coverage can be elected in $25,000 increments to a maximum of $250,000
  • Guarantee issue of $25,000 of Spouse/DP Life without evidence of insurability if elected within 30 days of initial eligibility.
  • Child Life of $10,000 is available for one or more children.
  • Child Life guaranteed without evidence of insurability.

Voluntary Life insurance election or changes made outside of the initial eligibility period may be subject to evidence of insurability.
Voluntary Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) If you are a regular associate scheduled to work 20 hours or more per week, you have the option of enrolling in voluntary AD&D insurance in addition to your basic coverage provided by the company.

  • Associate coverage is available in $25,000, increments to a max of $1,000,000, or 10x annual salary
  • Family coverage is available. The benefit is as a percentage of the associate’s principle sum.
    • Spouse (with children) – 50%
    • Spouse (no children) – 60%
    • Each child (with spouse) – Lesser of 15% or $150k
    • Each child (no spouse) – Lesser of 20% or $200k

Business Travel Insurance If you are a regular associate scheduled to work at least 20 standard hours a week, Broadridge automatically covers you at no cost with Business Travel Accident (BTA) Insurance on your first day of employment.

BTA coverage provides a benefit if you suffer a covered injury while traveling on a business trip.

BTA will pay up to four times your annual base pay, up to a maximum of $2,500,000.
