WW® (formerly Weight Watchers)

Eligibility
All Associates and their Spouse/Domestic Partner are eligible to participate in the WW programs described below at a discounted rate – 50% of which is subsidized by CarMax. Eligible Associates (but not Spouses or Domestic Partners) are also eligible for the Achievement Incentive Awards. The following are not eligible to participate in this program:
Temporary or Seasonal Associates
Children of the Associate, Spouse, or Domestic Partner — regardless of age
Independent Contractors
Please note: To receive the discounted rate, you must enroll through the website (or toll-free number) provided below. Discounts only apply at the time of enrollment and will not be applied retroactively.
Temporary Associates and Independent Contractors are not eligible to participate.
Program Costs
The reduced rate for eligible Associates is listed below by program. Please note that these rates are subject to change from time to time without prior notice to you. Additionally, the rates detailed below may not be applicable with some WW franchises. In such cases, you will be responsible for any costs in excess of those listed below.
As part of CarMax’s arrangement with WW, initial registration fees are waived if you enroll through the website (or toll-free number) provided below. You are required to pay the program cost to WW at the point of enrollment.

Digital & Workshops Membership
With this membership, you can attend unlimited WW workshops in the community. You will also have access to the full suite of online digital tools.
Digital Only Membership
You can follow WW completely online with our Digital program. The digital program includes many interactive tools and resources. You can also connect with an online community anytime for inspiration and motivation.
Note: The online program is not eligible for the Subsidy or Achievement Incentives.

Achievement Incentive Awards
Achievement Incentive Awards apply only to eligible Associates (but not Spouses or Domestic Partners) enrolled in the Digital + Workshop Membership.
Once you begin your selected program, you and WW will establish your goal weight. You will also note the number of pounds representing 10% of your total body weight (your “10% Goal”).
When you reach your 10% Goal, you will be eligible to receive an Achievement Incentive Award of $50.
When you reach your Goal Weight, you will be eligible to receive an additional Achievement Incentive Award of $50.
If your 10% Goal is equivalent to your Goal Weight, you will be eligible to receive both Achievement Incentive awards, for a total of $100.
If you have achieved Lifetime Membership status (as defined by WW), you will be eligible to receive $100 for every year you maintain your Lifetime Membership status.
Gym Incentives
If you are an active WW member in either program, you are also eligible for a Gym Incentive of up to $30 per month. To be eligible, you must use the services of an approved gym at least 8 times in a calendar month and provide proof of each visit.
Please note: You must be in an active Associate at the time Achievements are reached and when the Achievements or Incentives are paid to be eligible for the awards. Spouses and Domestic Partners are not eligible for Achievement Incentives. Only Digital + Workshops subscriptions are eligible for Subsidy or Achievement Incentives.
To receive your Achievement Incentive Award or Gym Incentive, you must complete a WW Achievement Incentive Award Form or Gym Incentive form, including the appropriate weight loss reports or gym reports. Be sure the form is completed in its entirety and email it to the address on the form.
Taxability of Subsidy and Achievement Incentives
Subsidy: Since the CarMax subsidy is considered a taxable fringe benefit, you will see taxable income line item on your CarMax paycheck each month while you and your Spouse or Domestic Partner (as applicable) are enrolled, which is equal to the subsidy paid by CarMax towards your monthly WW program fees.
Achievement Incentive Awards: Any Achievement Incentive Award or Gym Incentive you receive, as described above, will be paid to you as taxable income through payroll.
Terminated Employment
If you leave the Company before any Achievement Incentive Awards are processed, you will be ineligible for reimbursement, even if you reached a goal before leaving the Company. You must also un-enroll in the CarMax WW Program and sign up separately to maintain your account.
